Zac Efron #2 PEOPLE's World's Most Beautiful 2011

Those abs! Those pecs! That chest! No wonder the newly single star also topped PEOPLE's Most Amazing Bodies list last year. But the 23-year-old is more than mere eye candy. Efron, who's currently filming the A-list ensemble New Year's Eve, tells PEOPLE, "I think it's important to remember to live in the moment and enjoy every day to the fullest."

Chris Evans And Chris Hemsworth Hit Cover Of USA Weekend

Marvel pulled off a bit of a coup, landing Captain America: The First Avenger star Chris Evans and Thor star Chris Hemsworth on the cover of the April 15-17 USA Weekend, the USA Today spinoff that’s inserted into more than 800 newspapers nationwide. That translates to 44.7 million readers in 22.6 million households.

Brian Truitt, an editor and writer for both publications who regularly covers comic books, tweeted the cover, as well as an image from the photo shoot.

The Kenneth Branagh-directed Thor, which opens on May 6, also stars Natalie Portman, Anthony Hopkins and Tom Hiddleston. The Joe Johnston-directed Captain America, which opens on July 22, also stars Sebastian Stan, Hayley Atwell and Hugo Weaving.

Adele Cover ‘Rolling Stone’

Adele looks absolutely stunning on the cover of this month’s Rolling Stone, but the Brit singer — who just scored her fourth week at the top of the charts here in the U.S. — isn’t that interested in focusing on her physical attributes. “My life is full of drama and I won’t have time to worry about something as petty as what I look like,” she tells the music mag, though she does have an appreciation for other pop star bodies: “I love seeing Lady Gaga’s boobs and bum. I love seeing Katy Perry’s boobs and bum. Love it. But that’s not what my music is about. I don’t make music for eyes. I make music for ears.”

Full Body Shots of Ryan Reynold’s Green Lantern

When The Green Lantern was announced, it was also made public that star Ryan Reynolds would not be wearing a suit on set, but that the costume would be added later in CGI. So for every trailer and footage so far we’ve gotten a rough idea of how it’s supposed to look, but it’s hard to know if the trailers presented finished effects shots. Well, the film is due out June 17, so now we’re going to get the full body shots. Breaking News USA got the first images, and we present them here.

Between this and the recent footage presentation at WonderCon, The Green Lantern is starting to look a lot more confident than it seemed a couple months back when all we had was a trailer that came across as an Iron Man clone. Now that the marketing has embraced its outer-space adventure elements and the scale, it looks like something we haven’t seen before.

Lady Gaga Discusses ‘Born This Way’ Album Cover In ‘Gagavision No. 42′

Lady Gaga somehow recently found herself with two free days in New York City, so she spent the time cobbling together her Gagavision No. 42 clip. In the video, the “Born This Way” singer discusses finishing the recording of her upcoming album and designing its cover. Watch below.

“So I have been up for about approximately perhaps 72 hours straight, working on finishing this record,” a sleepy but smiling Gaga says in the video. “And I finally finished the album cover. I love it so much.”

The next portion of Gagavision No. 42 shows Lady Gaga sitting down with her Haus Of Gaga cohorts for a meeting, where she states she doesn’t want the word “deluxe” to appear anywhere on the, uh, deluxe version of her Born This Way album. “I hate that word,” she says.

Next some text appears on the screen that says, “I designed the ‘Judas’ single cover myself, in Word, and photographed the image with my cellphone for texture.” Gaga’s second Born This Way single “Judas” is set to be released next week, on April 19.

Guess we’ll know in a few days whether these are the actual lyrics to the song or not.

New Priest Trailer promises Vampire War

Coming out May 13, Priest is going to be there at the start of the summer season. Paul Bettany will be doing battle with the forces of evil (aka Vampires) to protect his kin. There’s a lot of throwing stars and fighting involved, and the latest trailer also promises Cam Gigandet and Christopher Plummer. What more can you ask for from a Summer movie? Unknown. Check out the new trailer…

Priest has already been pushed back four times, and went through a troubled production, so I’m sure everyone’s happy to finally have the film hitting theaters. Little seen in the trailer are female stars Lily Collins and Maggie Q, nor any Karl Urban, who also appears in the film. Weird.

Miley Cyrus And Avril Lavigne Perform With Music Legends On ‘Oprah’

Today on Oprah, the talk show host conducted a musical science experiment — what if we mixed together female rockers from the past with obnoxious pop stars of the present? The outcome resulted in kind of random, but not terrible performances by Pat Benatar and Avril Lavigne singing “Love Is A Battlefield”, while Joan Jett performed with Miley Cyrus on a medley, including “Cherry Bomb” and “Bad Reputation.” A fitting choice, since we honestly believe that Miley does not give a damn about her bad reputation. Watch both performances below.
Before we get to the match-ups, the best duo of the night was obviously Salt-N-Pepa (backed by Spinderella), performing a medley of their hits! We can’t possibly be the only people that still know all the lyrics to “Shoop”, right?

“It’s amazing,” Miley said. “I auditioned for my show with ‘I Love Rock & Roll’ and the first album I ever made, I had ‘I Love Rock & Roll,’ so it’s something that’s always meant something to me, just seeing Joan stand up for chicks who want to play the guitar. It’s something that’s always inspired me. I’m happy I could be here with her. It means a lot to be here.”

Jennifer Lopez Is PEOPLE's Most Beautiful

Jennifer Lopez graces the cover of PEOPLE's Most Beautiful issue.

The 'American Idol' judge tells the magazine that she prefers to be makeup free and low maintenance.

"That's when I'm my happiest," Lopez explains. "Just being able to touch my face and rub my eyes and put my fingers in my hair and not having to worry about messing it up. It's so much better."

But she knows that being beautiful comes with her job description. "The thing is, it's part of my job."

"I don't want anybody thinking it's easy. It does take time and it's hard work. HDTV wide-screen is nobody's friend!" she adds.

Her daughter Emme enjoys a little primping just like mom. "She is very girly-girl, just like me since I was very little. She loves for me to paint her nails. She lays out her clothes on the floor like I do with my stylist and she's like, 'This matches very good!'"

But Emme doesn't have all the fun. "[My son Max] wants to paint his nails too. Because for him, it's just paint. He's like, 'I want the blue!'"

The singer-actress turned reality star admits she has grown into her "diva" label. "I kind of like it. We've kind of owned it now. But I certainly don't like and I've never been a person who has what they call 'diva behavior,' which is something they tried to pin on me for a long time."

Who else made the issue? Teen heartthrob Zac Efron is on the list, with newlywed Reese Witherspoon, Jessica Simpson and Mandy Moore.

Katie Holmes, Jennifer Hudson, 'Twilight' vamp Kellan Lutz, Dana Delany, 'Office' stars Ellie Kemper and Mindy Kaling, Sandra Bullock, Jennifer Lawrence, Eva Longoria and Ryan Reynolds are also represented.

Lady Gaga Covers Harper’s Bazaar, Claims She’ll Never Have Plastic Surgery [PHOTOS]

In a new interview with Harper’s Bazaar, 25-year-old Lady Gaga states that she’ll never succumb to the pressure to get cosmetic surgery.

“I have never had plastic surgery, and there are many pop singers who have,” Gaga tells the mag’s May issue (on stands April 26). “I think that promoting insecurity in the form of plastic surgery is infinitely more harmful than an artistic expression related to body modification. And how many models and actresses do you see on magazine covers who have brand-new faces and have had plastic surgery, while I myself have never had any plastic surgery?” the singer continued. “I am an artist, and I have the ability and the free will to choose the way the world will envision me.”

Gaga went on to talk about the allure of Hollywood…

“I had all these No. 1 records, and I had sold all these albums, and it was sort of this turning point: Am I going to try and embrace Hollywood and assimilate to that culture?” she recalls. “I put my toe in that water, and it was a Kegel-exercise vaginal reaction where I clenched and had to retract immediately,” Gaga says. “I ran furiously back to New York, to my old apartment, and I hung out with my friends, and I went to the same bars.”

Katy Perry has been named the face of GHD

Katy Perry has been named the face of GHD, a styler line that Perry used on her “California Dream” tour. Posing retro-style for famed photographer David LaChapelle, Perry channeled sexpots of yesteryear (and the hair looked great).

According to HELLO! magazine, GHD released the following statement about Perry’s new role with the company: “Katy is the epitome of modern fashion and styling. Her unique, ever changing looks are the envy of style devotees around the world… Sassy, stylish and sexy, Katy is the perfect partner for GHD.”

Emma Roberts Talks To ‘Seventeen’ [PHOTOS]

Oh to be 20 again. Emma Roberts talked about boys and her body in the May issue of Seventeen (she’s also the mag’s cover girl). The Scream 4 actress, who is rumored to be dating Gossip Girl‘s Chace Crawford, said “Sexy when I was younger always meant boobs, and I’ve never had boobs in my life, so I always felt that sexy was out of the question for me.” Don’t say such things, Roberts! She continues, “I used to really want to be that kind of voluptuous girl, and I’ve just kind of embraced that I’m not.”

Roberts also looked back on her teenage years, and sometimes reads a journal she kept while she was 15. Like many of us who look back and think, “what was wrong with me?” Roberts has the same thoughts. She told Seventeen, “I write, just to do it for me, because I know, when I’m older, I’ll want to look back and know what was going on in my mind. I look back on journals that I had when I was 15, and it’s so interesting to see that the things that I thought were the end of the world at 15, I barely remember now.”

January Jones Gets Messy For W Magazine [PHOTOS]

Mad Men‘s January Jones is featured in a very stylized photo shoot for the May 2011 issue of W Magazine. One most fascinating things that we learn from the accompanying article is that she originally auditioned for the Mad Men role of barrier breaking, career-focused Peggy – the role went to Elisabeth Moss – and instead, series creator Matthew Weiner created a role for her

Here are some highlights from the interview by Lynn Hirschberg:

Despite the fact that you are perfectly cast as the chilly, gorgeous WASP-ish housewife Betty Draper on Mad Men, you originally auditioned for the part of ambitious plain-Jane Peggy, the lapsed Catholic career gal.
January Jones: There was no Betty in the pilot when I auditioned. Matthew Weiner, the creator of the show, had no intention of showing Don Draper’s home life. I read for Peggy two times—it was between me and Elisabeth Moss, who eventually got the part. At the end of the scene, there was a casual mention that Don was married. Matt went home that night and wrote two scenes that featured Betty. I auditioned a couple of days later, and he made me a verbal promise that the character would grow. I took the part on faith—there was no script or fleshed-out character or Betty plotline.
