God? — interviewed Britney Spears on camera, asking her softball questions regarding her Femme Fatale album, such as “What’s it like to work with will.i.am?” and “Tell us what it’s like to work with Max Martin and Dr. Luke.” And Robo-Britney, using that unusually deep, staccato voice she now has for some perplexing reason, answered as vaguely and lethargically as possible. Katy Perry Geeks Out On The Remix Cover Art Of “Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)”

Though Katy Perry’s song “Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)”, the fifth single off Teenage Dream, makes us think of Ke$ha (”Glitter all over the room / Pink flamingos in the pool”), the remix cover art has got us thinking of T.G.I.F, the 90s-set block of family friendly shows on ABC. This is definitely a new look for the constantly evolving style icon. Get out your pocket protectors and high-waisted pants, it’s time for geek chic to take over!

Katy Perry Covers ‘Vanity Fair’, Discusses Marriage To Russell Brand

As much as we’re amused by Katy Perry looking straight out of a John Hughes movie, we’re swooning over the pop star’s sleek, romantic look while gracing the cover of Vanity Fair’s June issue. Perry, who was photographed in Paris by Annie Leibovitz, and sat down with the mag to discuss her career, how protective she is of her marriage, and how she initially lied about not kissing any girls back when she sang about kissing girls. First of all, when we think of Katy’s career in terms of edible goods, we’re inclined to think of it as cotton candy — fun, delicious fluff — but she sees it more like an artichoke: “People might think that the leaves are tasty and buttered up and delicious, and they don’t even know that there’s something magical hidden at the base of it. There’s a whole other side [of me] that people didn’t know existed.”

Touching on her need for privacy in her marriage to Russell Brand, Katy says, “The press is just not your friend when it comes to a marriage. That’s why we didn’t sell the pictures of our wedding, and we got offered millions of dollars for them, millions… it’s the wrong kind of attention. It detracts from the reason why you exist. We wanted that moment to ourselves.”

She does explain why she chose to show footage from her wedding in India while performing her Teenage Dream track “Not Like The Movies” at The Grammys. “I felt the moment was right and not forced,” she says. “Russell and I had time to savor our moment privately first and then share it with people when we were ready, and not for a paycheck. I loved the idea, because I thought it was beautiful and artistically accompanied the song I wrote for him. Plus, it was Valentine’s eve!”

When discussing her first hit single, “I Kissed A Girl”, Perry admits she lied about responding in the negative when she was repeatedly asked if she had ever kissed a girl. “I said no, I hadn’t experienced it, even though I had, because I didn’t like where the guys were taking the interviews.”

All in all, dealing with the judgment of the media and the public is worth it. “I don’t care what people say about my relationship; I don’t care what they say about my boobs. People are buying my songs; I have a sold-out tour. I’m getting incredible feedback from my music.”

Lane Garrison’s Shirtless Beach Jog [PHOTOS]

Prison Break star Lane Garrison, who has more recently appeared in the TV series The Event, was spotted yesterday taking advantage of the warm Los Angeles weather with a trip to the beach.

While at the beach, Garrison was seen cooling off in the ocean before working on his physique with a run on the sand.

If you recall, Lane was was convicted of vehicular manslaughter in 2007. The actor was 26 when he decided to attend a high-school party that led to a fatal car crash. He had some drinks before climbing into a car with three teens, and his blood-alcohol level was double the legal limit. Garrison crashed into a tree, killing a 17-year-old passenger.

Fresh out of prison, family friend Jessica Simpson head a welcome party for him, and then he headed to rehab to fulfill his parole requirement.

Here’s hoping that Lane can continue on his positive life course.

Daniel Radcliffe Talks Tony Snub

Today the nominations for the 2011 Tony Awards came out and there were a few big names missing from the list. Robin Williams wasn’t nominated for Bengal Tiger at the Bagdhad Zoo and Ben Stiller didn’t get a nomination for The House of Blue Leaves.

However, the biggest snub was probably the fact that Daniel Radcliffe didn’t receive a nomination for How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying. Two years ago, he was snubbed for his well-received performance in the play Equus taking on the part of a troubled teen that had earned Peter Firth a Best Play Actor nod for the original 1975 production.
Celebuzz spoke with Daniel about the latest Tony diss:

“Obviously, it would be incredible to be nominated, but I care much more about John Larroquette getting a nod for Best Actor [in a Featured Role in a Musical.] I’d love him to win because he’s so brilliant in our show. It is disappointing if you’re not nominated, but it is such a strong year for musicals on Broadway and there are others who are very worthy of getting the nods,” he added.

The Book of Mormon, a musical comedy skewering many classes of people, was nominated for 14 Tony Awards on Tuesday, potentially making it the most celebrated Broadway show since “The Producers” won 12 of 15 nominations in 2001.

Ryan stopped at a local 7-Eleven in Los Angeles to pick his morning iced coffee. The actor, wearing loafers with no socks, looked a bit worse for wear as he walked back to his car.

The actor looks to be wearing the same pants and shoes as he wore yesterday when he arrived back in Los Angeles.

Ellen Goofs On ‘The Voice’

Apparently American Idol wasn’t the only reality TV singing competition Ellen DeGeneres tried her hand at. According to the daytime host, she also took a crack at being a coach on new ratings success The Voice. However, unlike on Idol — where Ellen lasted a whole season — her stint alongside Christina Aguilera, Cee Lo Green and the gang was much shorter: one episode. Lindsay Lohan & Shenae Grimes: New BFF's?

They’ve developed a newfound friendship, and last night (May 2) Lindsay Lohan and Shenae Grimes were spotted out in Los Angeles together.

The “Mean Girls” gal and the “90210” chick hit up Chateau Marmont for a fun-filled evening before driving off together in Grimes’ car.

In legal news, LiLo is gearing up to begin serving out her massive 480 hours of community service as prescribed by a Los Angeles court.

She accompanied her lawyer Shawn Holly to the Downtown Women’s Center yesterday afternoon to complete her community service induction session.

Miley Cyrus Covers Nirvana's "Smells Like Teen Spirit"

Trying her hand at the iconic track, Miley Cyrus kicked off her "Gypsy Heart" tour by surprising fans with her own rendition of Nirvana's "Smells Like Teen Spirit" at a concert in Ecuador over the weekend (April 29).

The "Hannah Montana" star introduced her cover of the song by telling the crowd, "For this tour, I want to be able to do the music that inspired me and made me want to be on this stage tonight."

Treating herself to a relaxing dinner after spending the previous night glammed up at the MET Gala, Rihanna stepped out for a bite to eat at Phillipe Chow in New York City on Tuesday (May 3rd).

The Barbadian beauty looked colorful with luscious n' long red locks and matching lipstick as she chowed down at the popular eatery - which is one of her favorites on both coasts.

On the career front, RiRi recently jetted down to Jamaica to film the music video for her next single, “Man Down.”

The upcoming video offering was filmed in a rural community in Jamaica called Portland, with Rihanna seen riding her bike along the city streets while also taking to the Caribbean beaches.
