Channing Tatum Shirtless in New ‘Magic Mike XXL’ Poster

There's certainly been a big buzz around the sequel, and  on Sunday, The Magic Mike cast reunited to hand out the Scared-As-S*** gong at the MTV Movie Awards.

Magic Mike XXL stars Channing Tatum, Matt Bomer, Joe Manganiello and Adam Rodriguez are front center once more with new images and a poster released for the anticipated Magic Mike sequel. Joined by Stephen Boss, the boys reunite for a road trip that hits theaters July 1, 2015.

Magic Mike XXL hits theaters July 1. And if this just-released trailer is any indication, then this sequel to the 2011 blockbuster should deliver exactly what viewers want of a male stripper story. 

What’s missing: Many of the sequel’s new cast members, including Andie MacDowell, Jada Pinkett Smith, Donald Glover, and Michael Strahan. And there’s also barely a clue about a plot, though Tatum has said in the past that the new flick is a "road-trip" movie. We’ll see how far he and the cast goes when Magic Mike XXL opens this summer.

Asked if he'd used cocaine, he said: 'Maybe a couple times, but that was later.

'Drinking was probably the biggest [thing]. I didn't look at drinking as a problem. It wasn't at that point, and I still don't think it's a problem. But at that time in my life, it was, 'Let's go out and have a great time.' '

  He’s currently working on the much vaunted sequel to box office hit Magic Mike, but while the script remains under-wraps the muscles were on full display as Channing Tatum stepped out on Sunday.

The 34-year-old actor was taking a break from the set of his eagerly anticipated new movie, currently being filmed on location in Savannah, Georgia.

Exiting his hotel, leading man Channing displayed his well-defined biceps and triceps in a white Budweiser T-shirt.

Channing Tatum has been getting into character for Magic Mike XXL.

And on Monday, it was clear the 34-year-old heartthrob had been doing a bit of weight lifting to prepare for his role the first day of filming the sequel in Savannah, Georgia. 

Cameras caught Channing filming this *one* scene in which Mike is carrying furniture. And he looks so sexy look that ass mmm.

Channing Tatum To Play Gambit In The Next X-Men

Channing Tatum has been confirmed to play Gambit in future X-Men films.

Producer Lauren Shuler Donner recently named Tatum as her ideal choice to play the comic book character, before it emerged that he was in talks for a potential solo film.

Director Bryan Singer previously teased that he was planning on bringing Gambit into the fold for X-Men: Apocalypse in 2016, so expect to hear even more details on Tatum's casting as they enter negotiations.

X-Men: Days of Future Past will arrive in UK cinemas on May 22 and in the US on May 23.

Channing Tatum Is a Striper Again? No, But He Has a Reality Show About it

Channing Tatum is moving into the unscripted biz, setting up an hourlong docuseries with A&E.

The untitled project follows the entertainers of New Orleans burlesque club Saints and Sinners, which Tatum opened with friend and biz partner Keith Kurtz in 2012.

The project is currently in the pilot stage at A&E, and hails from Tatum’s 33andOut Prods. and Original Media. Tatum and Kurtz will exec produce the show alongside Original’s Charlie Corwin. It is unclear whether Tatum will appear in the show.

Should the burlesque club docuseries be picked up by A&E, it would join the cabler’s slate of unscripted programs including “Duck Dynasty,” the “Storage Wars” franchise, and “American Hoggers.”
