We’ve seen sneak peeks of AnnaSophia Robb stepping into Carrie Bradshaw‘s Monolo Blahniks, but now we’re getting a first look at The Carrie Diaries‘ official trailer!
The 18-year-old Soul Surfer actress is taking on the role made famous by Sarah Jessica Parker in HBO’s smash series Sex and the City, showing viewers what Carrie was like during her teen years. While there’s no Samantha, Charlotte or Miranda in sight, we do see the teen equivalent to her dream man, Mr. Big, played by Vanessa Hudgens‘ beau Austin Butler.
Looks like things get pretty hot and heavy between those two!
In addition to honing in on her style-savvy ways, Carrie learns how to navigate the ins and outs of love and relationships as a teen. And let’s not forget about the most important love affair of all — Carrie’s love for Manhattan! The Carrie Diaries will begin airing this fall on The CW.
