Nicole Richie Wedding Dress Covers Magazine

Nicole Richie’s wedding dress is pictured on this German magazine cover. Richie didn’t manage to score a wedding cover on any of the major American mid-week magazine releases; including People magazine, to whom she granted exclusive rights, Us Weekly, who ran a non-exclusive feature, InTouch, Star, OK! magazine, or Life&Style. The best she got was two inset pictures; one on the cover of People, showing her wedding dress, alluding to the exclusive photos inside, and one on Us Weekly, that was a generic event photo. The rest of the weeklies ignored the story in favour of cheating/ break-up scandals and the Teen Moms. The first and only cover I’ve seen to date is from a German magazine called IN. It’s one showing Richie’s wedding dress, in full, as the featured cover story. There’s one main images, as above, and three inset images to the right which show Richie and husband Joel Madden, she and her father, and another image with daughter Harlow Madden. They are, oddly, claiming this as an ‘Exclusive’. I guess for Germany it’s an exclusive and perhaps People scored the rights in the US. The IN cover shows the ‘lace, tulle and organza Marchesa gown inspired by the one Grace Kelly wore in her wedding to Prince Rainier of Monaco.’ Oh, and there’s something completely innocuous about ‘…privates. Happy End,’ that I’m arbitrarily choosing to read as a ‘happy end[ing]‘ for Richie’s ‘privates’.
