We Know The Official Start Date For ‘Sonny With A Chance’ — Will Demi Make It Out In Time?

IT's Fashion And The City has learned when Disney’s Sonny With A Chance will begin filming and it’s very soon! Hopefully, Demi Lovato is well enough to start shooting again!

Demi Lovato is currently living in a treatment facility and has been for months, seeking help for “emotional issues.” Although her rep has said the 18-year-old Disney starlet will be released sometime after the New Year, we anticipate it being sooner than later because her show, Sonny with a Chance, starts shooting in mere weeks!

Disney tells the comedy show is scheduled to begin production the week of Jan. 30. However, it is our understanding the first several weeks will be spent shooting “So Random!” sketches and Demi isn’t expected to be there for all of them.

Thankfully, Disney has stood by their star, saying it will ensure filming will work around Demi completing treatment. Nevertheless, we wouldn’t be surprised if Demi is released and working very soon. We can’t wait!
