Miley Cyrus: Global Action Awards Honoree

Happy to be in the headlines for the right reasons, Miley Cyrus was on-hand for the 1st Annual Global Action Awards Gala at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills on Friday night (February 18).


The “Party in the USA” songstress looked to be thoroughly enjoying herself as she addressed the crowd after being presented with the Global Action Youth Leadership Award by Hilary Duff.

Doted the honor for her doings with Get Ur Good On, Miss Cyrus told the audience, “I want [kids] to do something they love."

She continued, “Not something that seems like a chore because someone tells them that’s the right thing to do or what their parents want or what’s important to people around them but what’s on their heart."
