Plus, tons more season four spoilers — straight from the stars’ mouths!HBO has finally released the first official footage of True Blood’s fourth season, and it gives fans exactly what they want: Lots of Eric Northman (Alexander Skarsgard) in very little clothing. Based on Charlaine Harris‘ novel Dead to the World, season four begins with an amnesia-stricken Eric running through the woods — in the books he’s naked, but we’ll let it slide — until Sookie (Anna Paquin) finds him and nurses him back to health.
And by “nurses him back to health,” I of course mean that Sookie and Eric spend all their time doing the dirty like rabbits in heat. Now that Sookie knows her boyfriend Bill (Stephen Moyer) betrayed her, what else is a girl to do?
The stars of True Blood attended a special Paleyfest event March 5 in Beverly Hills, Calif., and TVLine was there to get all the season four scoop:
When Sookie returns from the fairy world, “there’s some stuff that’s different,” Anna hints.
Believe it or not, Tara’s (Rutina Wesley) might not suck for once! “We’ll see a new Tara,” Rutina says. “She’s a lot more stable and she may find some happiness.”
Arlene (Carrie Preston) is still very much carrying the spawn of Satan. “The problem grows exponentially,” Carrie reveals.
Sam’s (Sam Trammell) brother Tommy (Marshall Allman) is still around, along with a whole bunch of new shifters yet to be introduced.
