Well hello there Mr. Lowe. That’s 47-year-old Rob Lowe shirtless on the cover of the May issue of Vanity Fair. In the article he reminisces about Tom Cruise and Charlie Sheen back in the ’80′s.
On Tom Cruise: He first met Tom Cruise during auditions for 80s classic The Outsiders, when the future superstar was a houseguest at the Sheen family home. His first impression of Tom? “Open, friendly, funny, and has an almost robotic, bloodless focus and an intensity that I’ve never encountered before,” Lowe says.
On Charlie Sheen: “We competed to see who could play harder, then show up for work and still kick ass,” Lowe says of making Masquerade in 1987 while Sheen shot Wall Street. “The verdict: Charlie by a nose.”
Oh how I miss the days of the Brat Pack.
