2012 New York Firefighters Calendar Returns [PHOTOS & VIDEO]

The FDNY has released its official 2012 Calendar of Heroes. This is the first official calendar released by the department since 2008.

A portion of the proceeds from the sales will go to the FDNY Foundation which focuses on educating the public about the dangers of fire and offering families fire safety tips.

According to the FDNY website, this is the first official calendar released by the department since 2008. Each month, the calendar discusses a different topic for fire safety and features a large photo of a topless New York City firefighter.
