2011 Met Costume Institute Gala Red Carpet Mega Gallery [PHOTOS]

A who’s who of celebrity attended the fashion event of the year, the Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty Costume Institute Gala at The Metropolitan Museum of Art tonight in New York City.

Jennifer Lopez and Brooklyn Decker went the pink route. With Jennifer wearing Gucci and Brooklyn showing off some leg in Michael Kors.

Beyonce was accompanied by her husband Jay-Z, while Rihanna hit the red carpet solo.

Andre Leon Talley wore another of his over the top capes. This year it was purple. Let me put it this way, she knows how to work a cape.

Chanel Iman, Bruno Mars and Matthew Morrison were all dressed in Dolce&Gabbana.

Jason Statham and his girlfriend Rosie Huntington-Whitely both work Burberry, as did Ryan Seacrest, Julianne Hough and British actor Douglas Booth.

Taylor Swift wore a dramatic J Mendel gown, while Diane Kruger opted for an ultra sexy Jason Wu number. Ashley Greene went ultra glam in Donna Karan.

Salma Hayek wore a beige Alexander McQueen gown, and Sofia Vergara kept things simple in Carolina Herrera.

Fergie went full gown in Marchesa with husband Josh Duhamel on her arm.
