An early trailer for an English-language film adaptation of The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo has leaked. Starring Rooney Mara (from The Social Network) as Lisbeth, Daniel Craig as Mikael Blomkvist, and Stellan Skarsgard as Martin Vanger, the trailer has as an extremely gritty feel to it. The score by Nine Inch Nails frontman Trent Reznor adds a nightmarish feel to the footage.
These photos are from when Rooney did a photo shoot for W Magazine in full Lisbeth mode back in February. The film will be in theaters December 21, 2011.
