Kate Hudson Debuts Chrome Hearts Jewelry Line

Set to launch her latest business efforts this month, Kate Hudson has unveiled her Chrome Hearts collaborative jewelry line.

The "Fool's Gold" actress teamed up with co-owner Laurie Lynn Stark to model the new pieces in the September 2011 issue of Elle magazine.

As for the offerings, CH+KH’s line is described as going back in time "stylistically to the 1970s vintage pieces that Hudson collects."

As for the centerpiece item, it's a pearl-and-gold seashell necklace - which was inspired by a heirloom choker that Hudson’s mother, Goldie Hawn, gave her on her twenty-first birthday.

Hudson explains, “It was one of the first pieces I ever remember my mother wearing and it was like, Wow, I hope one day I get to wear jewelry like that.”

Kate also spoke about leaning on mother Goldie during her "off balance" times, telling, “We’ve definitely had lots of talks about parenting and being a working mom. She never hands out unsolicited preachy words of wisdom, though. My parents allowed my brother and I to have our freedom and be ourselves and feel confident in our choices and to make mistakes without too much judgment. I hope that I can do as good a job.”
