Bringing her liveliness to the reality competition series, Nicki Minaj took command of the stage during Thursday night's (March 29) episode of "American Idol".
The 29-year-old donned a rainbow-covered bikini top and platinum hairdo as she treated the audience to a rendition of her hit single "Starships" during the elimination installment which saw Heejun Han sent packing.
Once finished up, Miss Minaj offered up her thanks before telling host Ryan Seacrest that she'd love to pay the Fox show another visit - only this time as a guest judge.
Having a little fun with Jennifer Lopez, Nicki asked the "Dance Again" singer if she could "scoot over a little," to which a finger-wagging J. Lo shot back, "I don't know if there's enough room for both of us."
Minaj's "American Idol" appearance comes as she's readying for the release of her sophomore album titled "Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded" - which is set to drop this Tuesday, April 3rd.
