Madonna Rocks Israel with MDNA Tour Opener

It’s bound to be one of the biggest tours of the year, and Madonna kicked off her MDNA run in Israel last night (May 31).

And although her opening number included her pointing a rifle into the audience, Madge made a plea for peace in the region.

She declared, “All the conflicts that occur here and have been occurring for a thousand years, they have to stop. We all bleed the same color. No matter how many percentages of land we give back, no matter how many talks, no matter how many wars, if we don’t treat every human being with dignity and respect, we will never have peace.”

Madonna also unveiled her live version of “Express Yourself”/ “Born This Way” mash-up, including the Lady Gaga hit that she had previously slammed as being a ‘redo’ of her own track.
