It’s shaping up to be a big year for ’90s pop phenom Spice Girls — not only did their mega-selling debut LP Spice turn 15, the “zig-a-zig-ah”-ing quintet also has their musical Viva Forever, which is set to open the Piccadilly Theatre in London’s West End, on the way.
Mirroring the summer 2007 press conference when Victoria Beckham, Melanie Brown, Emma Bunton, Melanie Chisholm, and Geri Halliwell announced their reunion for a world tour, the girl group took the stage once more in front of London reporters today to promote Viva Forever (along with Absolutely Fabulous creator Jennifer Saunders, who penned the musical, and producer Judy Craymer).
