Last night at SXSW, Yeah Yeah Yeahs appeared at NPR's Stubbs showcase, alongside Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, Youth Lagoon, Waxahatchee, and Le1f, among others.
YYYs performed several new songs from their forthcoming album Mosquito (due April 16 via Interscope), including the title track, "Under the Earth", "Subway", and single "Sacrilege". Karen O's "Elvis in Vegas, Bootsy Collins, James Brown, Elton John" look is also on full display, which she recently discussed in an Update interview with Carrie Battan.
