 It’s one of the biggest events of the year for the fashion industry and earlier tonight (May 5) Selena Gomez strolled up to the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City for the 2014 Met Gala.

Clad in a gorgeous Diane Von Furstenberg gown with Charlotte Olympia shoes and Lorraine Schwartz jewels, the “Come and Get It” star was hard to miss with her beautiful smile and picture perfect poses as she mingled with fellow attendees.

With a guest list that includes the biggest names in fashion and entertainment, there’s no telling what to expect from the 2014 Met Gala.

Designer Zac Posen previously told E!, "I think people are going to look spectacular! I think we are going to see lots of major, major gowns and very strong iconic moments. You know, it's a very cut down list so I think everyone that's going is expected to shine."
