Jonas Brothers announce new single and shoot video in New Orleans

Jonas Brother fans rejoice!

The Jo Bros have revealed to “On Air with Ryan Seacrest“ exclusively their next upcoming single will be “Pom Poms” and we can expect the track to drop this Spring.

In fact, they just shot the video last Saturday!

So what can we expect the song and video to be like? The video, shot in New Orleans, was complete with the cheerleading squads from the Saints and Hornets as well as the marching band for Southern University.

Turns out JoBros treated Los Angeles fans to more covers, with a lovely interpretation of Frank Ocean‘s “Thinkin’ Bout You.” Nick Jonas was the star here, as he was given falsetto duty (the entire audience seemed to go into convulsions when he hit those high notes) and eventually unleashed a guitar solo.

Jonas Brothers Enjoy a Family Lunch in Hollywood

Showing their brotherly love, the Jonas Brothers went to lunch together at Kings Road Cafe in West Hollywood today (September 5).

Eldest brother Kevin wore a blue color block v-neck t-shirt with blue jeans while middle brother Joe wore a gray sweater, dark jeans, and a fedora. Youngest brother Nick wore a black Campbell's soup t-shirt with dark jeans.

Joe tweeted a photo of the family fun with the comment, "Pops and bros brunch."

Unfortunately, it fell on the youngest to take a hit today. The 19-year-old's Fisker Karma hybrid was ticketed while the boys were inside.

He shrugged off the citation on Twitter, tweeting, "Happy to give the city of Los Angeles $25 today. #parkingticket #itsallgood" with a photo of the ticket.

Jonas Brothers Arrive at Kings Road Cafe in Style

Stepping out for a bite to eat, the Jonas Brothers were seen getting breakfast at Kings Road Café in Hollywood, CA on Saturday (August 11).

The trio including Nick, Kevin and Joe all sported black skinny pants, sneakers and black sunglasses as they headed in for the morning grub session.

Joe Jonas’ “See No More” May Soon Be Burnin’ Up

Joe Jonas, as if it hadn’t been clear, is finally ready to step out on his own with a fresh sound and a set of collaborators with whom he doesn’t share DNA. A just-released snippet of “See No More” — set to a video montage of images from the past year of Joe’s hectic pop-star travels — offers our first real sense of how he’ll sound on his debut solo album, believed to be titled FastLife. Listen to a bit of Joe’s first single, featuring Chris Brown, below. We know Nick’s “loving” the album, but will Jonas fans?



The track, produced by Digging ace Brian Kennedy, appears to open with a dramatic sequence, with strings brooding underneath, before Joe and “See No More” co-writer Chris Brown chime in (and we think that’s Joe’s processed vocal at the end of the snippet.) It also sounds — from the music and from Joe’s own words — that the music and lyrics will explore far more personal territory than anything Nick, Joe and Kevin Jonas ever tried together.

“Working on this album has been a rewarding but intense experience. ‘See No More’ especially carries a lot of personal emotions with it and I am hoping people listening to it will get a sense of where I’m coming from with this new sound,” Joe has said.

The middle Jonas has played coy about whether Breezy will appear in the video, but we’re looking forward to seeing what’s next.

Justin Bieber: 2011 Billboard Music Awards Winner!

Getting one of the loudest ovations of the night, Justin Bieber took the stage as an early winner at the 2011 Billboard Music Awards on Sunday night (May 22).

The "Baby" heartthrob handled the warm reception with his usual graceful nature as he spoke to the MGM Grand audience upon being named as Digital Artist of the Year.

Later in the evening, Bieber took home multiple other trophies including Top New Artist - during which the Canadian superstar was spotted stealing a quick smooch from girlfriend Selena Gomez.

As for the show, the Ken Jeong hosted Billboard Music Awards featured performances by big names including Ke$ha, Nicki Minaj, the Black Eyed Peas, Lil Wayne and numerous other top acts.

With other presenters including Joe Jonas and Matthew Morrison, the show also featured a special tribute to Beyonce Knowles - who was doted with the Billboard Millenium Award for her undeniably successful career achievements.

Leaping lady Taylor Swift continues to roll out her Speak Now singles, and on Tuesday, May 24 — assuming that the world has not ended this Saturday — the singer will sit down with MTV’s Sway for “MTV First: Taylor Swift”, where she’ll premiere her new video for “The Story Of Us.” Head below to catch a preview of the tour hottie cramming in the library (and cozying up with a study buddy) in her new clip.

“I was at an awards show, and there was a guy there, obviously — it all starts there, doesn’t it?” she told MTV about the meaning behind the song. “It was a guy I had been in a relationship with, falling out, then we end up at the same awards show. Both trying to act like we don’t care.”

After the incident, she knew there was enough emotion there to write a song. “Afterward, I just felt so empty, like we were both fighting this silent war of pretending we didn’t care that the other was there,” she said. “And I went home, and I wrote this song about it. And at that point, I had this gut feeling, and I knew the album was finished.”

For those of you keeping track of all of Taylor’s men behind Speak Now, this one was first thought to be about Joe Jonas, but some super sleuth journalists got Taylor to admit that both her tracks “Dear John” and “The Story Of Us” were written about the same person — John Mayer.

Joe Jonas’ New ‘See No More’ Single Cover [PHOTOS]

Joe Jonas will release his debut single as a solo artist, “See No More,” on June 3rd (it will be available digitally for sale on June 13th). Joe was spotted last night (May 15) dining with a friend at Katsuya in Hollywood.

His highly anticipated debut solo album on Hollywood Records will be in stores on September 6, 2011 and will feature production by Danja, Rob Knox and Brian Kennedy.

The song was co-written by Joe Jonas and Chris Brown and produced by Brian Kennedy. Joe said of the album:

“Working on this album has been a rewarding but intense experience. ‘See No More’ especially carries a lot of personal emotions with it and I am hoping people listening to it will get a sense of where I’m coming from with this new sound,” says Joe Jonas. “I’ve had an awesome team working with me on the music and I am excited, anxious, but more importantly… ready… to share it all with my fans. It’s as much for them as it is for me.”

Zac Efron Having Fun Hanging Out With Ashley Greene

Having just broken up from their other half, Zac Efron and Ashley Greene got together over the weekend to have some fun. Hollywood Life reported that the "Charlie St. Cloud" hunk and the "Twilight Saga" beauty were seen hanging out at Baja Cantina in Marina Del Ray last Saturday, May 7.

While Zac and Ashley enjoyed some downtime together, they are only good friends and weren't romantic at all during the Saturday night outing. Sources further stressed that the relationship between the two are strictly platonic. The gossip site additionally noted that the pair were also joined by a group of mutual friends.

Zac split from his girlfriend of nearly five years Vanessa Hudgens in December 2010. He has since been linked to the likes of Teresa Palmer and Victoria's Secret model Candice Swanepoel. Ashley herself has called it quits with Joe Jonas earlier this year. She was quick to be linked to Kings of Leon's Jared Followill.

There wasn’t one ugly mug in the crowd at last night’s (May 10) dinner at the Chateau Marmont in LA honoring designer Simon Spurr, which was hosted by the Mr. Porter designer menswear shopping site Editor in Chief Jeremey Langmead and Simon Spurr President Tommy Fazio.

Kellan Lutz, Joe Jonas, Stephen Moyer, Colin Egglesfield, Dermot Mulroney and Xavier Samuel joined designer Simon Spurr at the event. Langmead said of Spurr, “It was great to hold a dinner in honor of a designer who celebrates style modern masculinity and appreciates tradition at the same time brings in a modern forward thinking aesthetic. We are proud to have Simon Spurr on Mr. Porter.”
I wonder if Twilight co-stars Kellan Lutz and Xavier Samuel talked with Joe Jonas about Ashley Greene, Joe’s former girlfriend, at all? It could have been a little awkward of a situation for the three of them.

Jonas Brothers fans are in for a treat today -- because 2/3 of the boy band went shirtless in Hawaii.

Nick and Joe Jonas were spotted playing football on the beach while vacationing with younger brother Frankie. Kevin and wife Danielle were nowhere to be seen.

Joe, who went to the Coachella music festival over the weekend, tweeted yesterday "Was in the desert yesterday morning. Now in paradise. :) :) chillinnnnn ..."

The annual Coachella Music Festival is a magnet for celebrities. Making appearances yesterday (April 15) during day one of the festival were Kellan Lutz, Lindsay Lohan, Leonardo DiCaprio, Penn Badgley, Dita Von Teese, a sunburned Joe Jonas and a slew of other celebrities.

More than than 100,000 people are expected to take in the music festival experience near Palm Springs, California.

Alexander Skarsgard and Kate Bosworth were spotted hanging out at the bar, while Vanessa Hudgens and Josh Hutcherson were with a big group of friends.
