Rita Ora & Adidas Team for New Collection
0 comentariosAdding to her already jam-packed schedule, Rita Ora has designed a new range of goodies for Adidas and it’s going to be amazing.
The “How We Do” singer told WWD that her latest project finds her as the first female artist to help design a line for Adidas, though she’s not sure where she found the time.
Rita began, “I don’t own a second of my life, so much so that my mom is scheduling in dinners. It’s been insane.”
“I’m a massive fan of the brand. I grew up working at a sneaker store when I was 16 and am a huge sneakerhead. It’s so cool that I’m able to do this with a brand that I sold when I was younger.”
“I’ve been around Adidas for so long growing up and actually have one of my best friends working there. I used to hang out in the Adidas offices in L.A. for lunch when I’d visit her and in the past two years got to know everyone there.”
And it sounds like things are working out quite well. Adidas Originals design director Josefine Aberg noted, “Rita is, first of all, an amazing person and colorful and outgoing. She has a great way of mixing fashion and streetwear and has a big love for the brand, and it was obvious that we needed to work with her.”
To prepare for the gig, Rita had to do her homework. “I studied all of their shoes and their archives from the past 50 years. Before I started, I wanted to meet the team that was going to do it with me. So I did a performance at their Christmas party and met everyone. I was there for four hours going through a mood board, seeing what they have, what they don’t have and bouncing back and forth with ideas. From there on, literally we’d meet every two weeks for a five-hour meeting.”
The Adidas Originals x Rita Ora collection will be comprised of five different capsules, slated to release August 21st, September 4th and November 1st.

Rita Ora Goes Topless For ELLE Magazine UK
0 comentarios
She's been romantically linked to
famous Hollywood men including Bruno Mars and Rob Kardashian, but now
Rita Ora admits she never experienced love before her current boyfriend
Calvin Harris came into her life.
In the May 2014 issue of ELLE UK magazine, the "Shine Ya Light" songstress opened up about her relationship with the Scottish deejay and shared details about her new album.
Highlights from Miss Ora's interview are as follows. For more, be sure to pay a visit to ELLE UK!
On Calvin:
"There are so many things. The fact that he got something out of me that I never thought I had. Yes, like falling in love. I just didn't think I had it. I'd never experienced it before. And I was just like in the wilderness thinking, 'Will it ever happen?'"
On her new album:
"I didn't know what the f*ck I was doing on my first album. Let's be honest. I was a kid having the time of my life. And I made a party album - party and bullsh*t. This time I'm still having a great time, but I'm in a great, loving place. Now I want people to see you can have fun and be in love at the same time."
On her famous tattoo:
"This is Rosetta. It's based on an original piece by Alberto Vargas, who was an incredible illustrator in the 1930s. He was one of the creators of the pin-up image. That's our build, our power. That's why I was obsessed with it; learning what men don't understand about women and what women don't understand about men. I was obsessed with the painting a long time ago, and then I got it done six months ago. I just love pretty things, whether it is art, a song or a pair of shoes."

Rita Ora's SpongeBob Dress
0 comentariosRita Ora Celebrates Her New Song Dressed As SpongeBob
SpongeBob SquarePants is no fashion icon, but Rita Ora has a way of making him look tres chic.
In fact, almost everything the British beauty touches turns to gold, placing her on our celebrity style radar thanks to the looks we’ve been loving lately. The blonde bombshell doesn’t take herself too seriously when it comes to style, yet she still manages to pull just about everything off–even this SpongeBob dress.
Roc Nation’s princess was in London earlier today to celebrate the release of her latest single, “I Will Never Let You Down,” while clad in a frock featuring the cartoon character’s face. We first saw the Moschino FW14 piece, designed by Jeremy Scott, on the Milan Fashion Week runway back in February.
Her leggy look was completed with nothing other than matching pumps, because a dress like this does not need accessorizing–it’s a statement all on its own.
Quite frankly, Rita could walk around in a brown paper bag and she’d probably still be just as fab. If we’ve learned anything about Rita’s style, it’s that confidence (and a little red lipstick) go a long way.

NEW SONG: Rita Ora - I Will Never Let Do You Down
0 comentarios“I Will Never Let You Down,” the first single off her upcoming sophomore album.
Rita Ora has had a busy Monday. The beauty appeared on the BBC Radio 1 Breakfast Show with Nick Grimshaw and premiered her new single ‘I Will Never Let You Down’.
Directed by Francesco Carrozzini (Beyoncé’s “Jealous”), the chic, yet simple clip features gorgeous black-and-white and color shots of the British singer as she dons a designer wardrobe and dances alongside two blonde women.
The uplifting song, produced by Calvin Harris, was inspired by Whitney Houston.
Rita Ora released her debut album ‘Ora’ back in 2012 which featured the tracks ‘How We Do (Party)’, ‘R.I.P’, ‘Hot Right Now’ and ‘Radioactive’ to name a few. It was packed with hits.

Rita Ora Is The New Catwoman?
0 comentarios
Miauuuu! Channeling a bit of Catwoman, Rita Ora left her hotel in a unique outfit on Friday (March 28).
The "Hot Right Now" singer wore a patent leather headpiece; red, black, and gray fur coat, and black leather pants as she headed outside the Dorchester.
Posting a photo of herself and a masked gal pal also in black leather, the 23-year-old songstress wrote, "Bat and cat.."
Earlier in the evening, she donned the same coat and red leather to check out Chloe Green's Topshop fashion collection.
