Daniel Radcliffe Set to Receive Hero Award

He’s been rehearsing for months for his upcoming show “How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying” and Daniel Radcliffe happily posed for pictures during a post-show event at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre in New York City over the weekend (March 19).

The “Harry Potter” actor smiled proudly while posing with several fans and celebrities including stage show attendee, CBS anchor Katie Couric.

In other news, Mr Radcliffe - who has been an advocate for the suicide prevention group The Trevor Project since 2009 - is set to be honored with this year’s Trevor Project’s Hero Award.

Of the award, Daniel told the Associated Press, "It's fantastic. The fact that they think of what I've done by promoting awareness of the Trevor Project itself and the issues that it works to promote and help is a great honor."
