We reported today Ashley Greene may have scared off Joe Jonas by being too clingy, but is she trying to woo him back by making him jealous?
The 24-year-old Twilight actress is currently visiting New York and has been hanging out every day during her trip with Kings of Leon bass guitarist Jared Followill. First, the couple was spotted flirting it up at the club Avenue, and then Jared, Ashley and her dad, Joe, celebrated St. Patrick’s Day together.

Jared may seem like Ashley’s rebound BF, but don’t start creating new couple names just yet. A source close to Ashley tells HollywoodLife.com there isn’t anything romantic going on between them.

“They used to be an item, but right now they aren’t anything but friends,” the insider assures us.

So, if Ashley is really just friends with Jared, why is she parading him around NYC? Is she trying to get her ex — who’s also in NYC to work on his solo album — to pay attention to her?

Interestingly enough, Ashley’s antics may have worked. Fans have been wondering whether Joe, 21, tweeted the message “i cant take much more of this i miss you” March 17 and then deleted it. Although we’re skeptical he said anything of the sort, it has to be tough watching his girl prance around with a new guy so quickly after the break up.
