Christina Aguilera Talks Britney Spears

They both came up together as part of the “Mickey Mouse Club” crew, and Christina Aguilera had some kind words for Britney Spears during a recent interview.

When asked for her opinion of Spears’ new album Femme Fatale, Christina replied, "I've been really hard at work on this show. I haven't had quite the chance to go through the whole thing. I am a huge supporter of [Britney] in light of the fact that both of our careers started off together and are still going and going strong.”

“I just think at this point in the game it's extremely important to be supportive of fellow artists and especially females who get pitted against each other and torn apart."

Aguilera also tweeted to Brit, "Hey @BritneySpears Congrats on Femme Fatale release! Can't wait to see what you bring in the next video. xo." Spears shot back, “Thanks @TheRealXtina. Can't wait to watch you on your new show. Hope we get to hear that voice on The Voice."
