Lady Gaga took time to pose with fans while leaving her hotel in New York City tonight. Where was Gaga off to, dressed in her day clothes? Why, to the 2011 CFDA Fashion Awards at Alice Tully Hall in Lincoln Center to receive her Fashion Icon Award. Past recipients of this accolade include Kat Moss, Sarah Jessica Parker and Iman. Blackbook Magazine inquired as to whether Gaga deserves said honor, since some fashionistas wonder if she is an “icon.”
