Demi Lovato's 2011 Do Something Awards Arrival

Joining in on the annual celebration of those trying to make the world a better place, Demi Lovato was on hand for the 2011 Do Something Awards in Los Angeles, California on Sunday night (August 14).

The "Skyscraper" singer worked the Hollywood Palladium blue carpet before heading inside to prepare for her performance duties at the event which helps young people carry out charitable causes of interest.

Aside from just being a performer, Demi finds herself nominated for trophies in the categories of Do Something TV Star and Do Something Charity Song for her "Make A Wave" duet with Joe Jonas.

As for the ceremony, "Glee" actress Jane Lynch is tending to hosting duties for the second straight year with the show set to air on Thursday, August 18 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on VH1.

With the grand prize winner set to receive a $100,000 grant for his or her cause, the nominees and the charities they represent are Taryn Guerrero Davis for The American Widow Project, David Schwartz for The Real Food Challenge, Sarah Cronk for The Sparkle Effect, Mark Kabban for YALLA (Youth And Leaders Living Actively) and Adam Lowy for Move for Hunger.

Along with Miss Lovato, fellow stars pitching in as presenters include Adam Lambert, Victoria Justice, Olivia Munn, Kristen Bell and Jon Cryer while B.o.B, Foster the People and OneRepublic will all take the stage as performers.
