Gearing up for the new season of “The X Factor,” Britney Spears and Simon Cowell showed up at “Jimmy Kimmel Live” in Hollywood last night (September 12).
The “Baby One More Time” songstress looked gorgeous as she tried to temper her fellow judge Simon, who seemed keen to show off his hairy chest beneath an unbuttoned shirt.
Britney shared that her preconceptions of Simon were shattered when she finally got to chat with him for a bit. “I thought he was kind of rude. Yeah, that’s the idea he gives when he’s on the show. But I talked to him on the phone and he was a total sweetheart and I fell in love with him.”
Simon chimed in- “So was she. She was absolutely charming. Sweet and humble and nice… her reputation was completely different, so I was very, very surprised. We had this kind of love affair on the phone for a couple of days.”
