Beyonce H&M bikini advert is censored by New Yorkers

The so-called “bulge” of the Lower East Side still remains a religious Jewish stronghold despite the rampant change on all fronts. As such, one reader points out that there’s currently a modesty war brewing over at Grand and Columbia Streets. One that sorta mirrors what sometimes transpires on the other side of the river in Brooklyn.
Here at the M14A bus stop, an H&M ad featuring a bikini-clad Beyonce gets censored with some sort of cover, then categorically removed. We are told this is happening daily. From the mailbag:
There is a billboard of Beyonce at the bus stop at grand and Columbia. – one of the H and M one of her in a bikini. Every day someone tapes a cover over it, now it is opaque sheeting and every day people rip it down. You can see what is left of yesterday as the white covering at the bottom of the ad. We suspect the same modesty war that exists in Williamsburg but it is daily now.

Her ads are also being vandalized in Amsterdam,
Citizens of Amsterdam North aren't a fan of Beyoncé's H&M campaign and molested some posters around the city district with graffiti and wrote 'NEE TEGEN BLOOT (SAY NO TO NAKED)''
