Fifteen years after releasing her debut, Jenny goes back to the block in the video for “Same Girl.” In the Gomillion & Leupold-directed clip, which was shot guerrilla style in December, the pop megastar visits her old neighborhood of Castle Hill in the Bronx and rides the 6 train, dances in the rain, and hangs with her fans while rocking a Yankees cap.
Looking twenty years younger than she is, JLo reminds us of her Jenny From The Block days in baseball caps, jeans and trainers.
The star also casually rides the subway and walks through her old neighbourhood taking photos with fans.
“It’s important to know where you’re from so you can see where you are going,” JLo says.
She has been in the studio with French Montana, Chris Brown, Future, Big Sean, Robin Thicke, and DJ
Mustard working on her upcoming 10th album.
