There's a Devil Baby in New York City

Pedestrians in New York City got the living daylights scared out of them thanks to a prank for an upcoming movie. NYC-based viral marketing company Thinkmodo created the spine-chilling stunt for the movie “Devil’s Due,” an upcoming horror movie.

In the clip, a remote-controlled stroller zooms around the city, stopping every so often to let people peer inside, only to find a demonic-looking, animatronic baby. Michael Krivicka of Thinkmodo told Yahoo! Movies that the prank was amusing to watch.

Film, released by 20th Century Fox on Jan. 17, revolves around a newlywed couple who experience an earlier-than-planned pregnancy, with the wife experiencing dark changes to her mind and body of sinister origins.

Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett directed the low-budget scarer, written by Lindsay Devlin. Allison Miller and Zach Gilford star in the Davis Entertainment-produced pic.
