Demi Lovato Performs at Gay Pride Parade At LA

About 400,000 revelers flocked to the streets of Hollywood on Sunday in celebration of this event.

Lovato, meanwhile, will head to New York at the end of the month to headline that city's Pride's Dance on the Pier in Tribeca on June 29.

It will take place on day after the 45th anniversary of the Stonewall Riots of 1969 that sparked the gay pride movement.

"I have been an active advocate of the LGBT community and am wholly committed to supporting individuality and being comfortable in one’s own skin," Demi said via statement, adding:

"I am thrilled to be a part of both events as they are a wonderful celebration of independence and self-confidence."

She performed alongside dancers with gold, pink, and blue bodysuits, all twirling their rainbow flags and showing their pride.
